Charli XCX Portrays a Twisted Persona of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary First Look
The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a substantial cinematic onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, Charli embodies what she refers to as a hell version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the performer commented.
She further explained in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea came from the expectation to produce one.
A Sneak Peek into The Project
The initial preview, released on Thursday, combines real clips from her recent tour with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.
The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who revealed that the narrative revolves around a reality where the artist took completely different paths throughout the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.

The film is scheduled to debut on the 30th of January.
