Charli XCX Portrays a Twisted Persona of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary First Look

The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a substantial cinematic onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, Charli embodies what she refers to as a hell version of her own persona.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the performer commented.

She further explained in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea came from the expectation to produce one.

A Sneak Peek into The Project

The initial preview, released on Thursday, combines real clips from her recent tour with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.

The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who revealed that the narrative revolves around a reality where the artist took completely different paths throughout the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.
