The UK airline is introducing free quick onboard connectivity through Starlink partnership

Passengers on this carrier are set to enjoy quick wifi onboard without charge due to a major deal with Elon Musk's communications provider.

No-cost plus High-speed Connectivity Across the Board

The airline stated that the complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” wifi provision via the satellite provider will be offered to customers flying coach, premium economy, or premium cabins as of soon.

Widespread Implementation Across Multiple Airlines

The umbrella company of British Airways, IAG, stated it had secured an deal involving the satellite firm to offer connectivity services across 500-plus aircraft operated by its operators, which also include the Irish airline, Iberia, plus Vueling.

Smooth Connectivity from Boarding through Arrival

British Airways noted that the introduction for the technology was part of a £7bn “transformation” initiative and would provide smooth internet access for passengers starting at boarding through landing, including when they are flying across oceans and isolated areas.
